As a State licensed EMS provider, you have accepted to tackle the physical and emotional challenges that await you. Along with that, you also inherit the responsibility to uphold your community’s expectation for being FIRST in pre-hospital care. There will be times when it’s just you, or you and your partner. Those first minutes before the appropriate resources arrive can be very lonely and very frustrating.
As the first on the scene, your initial assessment and intervention can mean the difference in life or death to the patient. Your understanding of this is crucial and we at First Trauma Care are here to provide you opportunities to learn information and perform techniques that may enhance your ability to evaluate and treat trauma patients much more effectively.
Depending on your level of licensure, MFR, EMT, EMT-Specialist or Paramedic, up to 12 continuing education credits (CEU’s) are available to each student.
